During WWII Walter served in the 86th U.S. Infantry Division, then in the 24th Infantry Division in New Guinea. He finished the War as a Staff Sergeant. At the end of the War he married his childhood sweetheart. He worked for 21 years for the District of Columbia Department of Corrections, then retired and worked another 11 years for the Maryland Court system. Thereafter he travelled extensively in Europe, then with his twin brother William he retired to Edgewater, Florida.
Walter and Henriette Hodge [S071], the latter a family friend of 30 year standing, have been the source of most of my information about the Entsminger and Reynolds clans. Henrietta died 4/14/2000.
